During school days, we focus on providing holistic education for our pupils. To achieve this, we embrace an approach that addresses all the facets of growth and development in our learners by focusing on the needs of each learner. The core subjects taught are: English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Christian Religious Education in line with the current official primary school curriculum.
These subjects are examined at KCPE level by the end of the eight year primary school course. The learning activities are handled and directed by self-dedicated and highly qualified professional God fearing teachers.

Orientation day for parents of new pupils.
Open Day: On this day, parents meet with their children’s teachers to review the learners’ academic progress. Should there be another matter regarding the learner that the teacher or parent has noted, it is also addressed in this forum.

Sharing Day – Towards the end of the term, learners carry snacks that they share with their friends within the class setting.

On an annual basis, we have:
KBA School Sunday – During the last Sunday of term 2, the parents, KBA staff, pupils and the Kahawa West Baptist Church community converge for a special moment of worship and reverence to God at the end of the term.
KBA annual sports day – The entire KBA fraternity come together to participate in games and sports ranging from field to track events.
KCPE candidates’ expedition day – Candidates take a tour to a destination set where they learn as well as relax as they prepare to sit for the national examinations
